# Draft participant instructions — not deployed

You are part of a team searching for a hidden target. Depending on the screen,
you may receive a shared clue, choose or be assigned an independent clue, report
what you saw, and select an action. Some screens show prior actions. Rewards can
depend on individual correctness, team discovery, unique coverage, or a declared
report/action mechanism. Exact rules and examples appear before each block.

This draft is not consent language and must not be used with participants before
ethics and institutional approval.

## Selective-attention v2 draft

An attention screen may deliver the public clue to everyone, one random role,
a selected audience, or a designated reader. Other screens may reduce clue
precision, recommend private-evidence use, issue an exclusive attention license,
reward discovery away from the public recommendation, or recommend a
conditional response when clues disagree. Access and recommended action are
always stated separately; a recommendation does not erase a clue.
